POST OPERATIVE CARE PACKAGE

The Breast Academy offers a post operative care package for our patients who are undergoing a breast augmentation procedure. The package includes a wire free post surgical bra and silicone gel. Support for your breasts post breast augmentation is important during the healing phase. Good support of the breasts assists with tension on the sutures, which in turn assists with minimizing scarring.

The silicone gel helps to reduce the size and change the appearance of scars. It uses the latest in silicone technology, simulating the natural barrier function of healthy skin, hydrating scar tissue to soften the scar, shrinking it, flattening and fading it. Silicone Gel can be applied to the following scars:

• Hypertrophic scars

• Keloid scars

• Old or new scars

The post operative care package is required to be purchased prior to your procedure. The staff at the Breast Academy will arrange this with you prior to your procedure. Extra post surgical bras and gels can also be purchased after your procedure.
